how zhood works

zhood is a launchpad on Robinhood Chain. every coin launched here is paired with ZEC. the ZEC token is the money the coin trades in, and the launch itself happens on pons.

the pair: ZEC on robinhood chain

Zcash has no native presence on an EVM chain, so the ZEC on Robinhood Chain is an ERC-20 that represents it. several exist. this site is built around one of them and lists the others, in order of preference:

  • ZEC Zcash active

verified on the explorer like Robinhood's own tokens, the most held and traded ZEC on the chain.

  • uZEC ZCash (Universal)

every address is checked on-chain (symbol, name, decimals, factory approval) before a build ships. the active pair is the first candidate the pons factory approves.

why launches can be on hold

the pons factory only opens a bonding curve in a pair asset it has approved (ETH, USDG, cbBTC, TAO and the Robinhood stock tokens today). a launch with any other token reverts with PairTokenNotApproved. until pons approves a ZEC token, the launch button here stays locked and says so. the check is live against the factory: the moment ZEC is approved, launches open without a redeploy. approving pair assets is pons's decision.

launching

  1. log in with X, GitHub, Twitch or email. a wallet is created for you, or connect your own.
  2. pick a name, a ticker and an image. choose a creator fee between 0 and 10 percent.
  3. your wallet signs one transaction. the coin opens on a pons bonding curve that trades in ZEC. the launch fee is set by pons in ETH.

all 1,000,000,000 tokens go to the curve. nobody gets a free allocation, including us.

trading

a coin here is bought with ZEC and sold back into ZEC. you need the ZEC token in your wallet, plus a little ETH for gas. when the curve collects its target amount of ZEC, the coin graduates into a Uniswap v4 pool with locked liquidity and keeps trading there.

pons charges a 1 percent fee on each trade. the creator fee you set at launch comes on top, paid to the creator in ZEC.

claiming

creator fees accrue on the curve, then sit in the pons fee escrow under the creator wallet. the claim page shows the balance and sends it to your wallet in one transaction. the escrow is a pons contract, this site never holds it.

prices

coin prices come from the curve reserves or the v4 pool, in ZEC. the dollar figure uses the Zcash spot price (CoinGecko, with Coinbase as fallback); there is no ZEC/USD Chainlink feed on Robinhood Chain yet.

what we protect

the name and ticker of this site are reserved: a coin using them from a wallet that is not ours is refused by the index and shown as unverified. the list on this site only shows coins launched through this site. the token address is the only real identifier, always check it.
